Xtorium FAQ: Accounts and Organization Administration


General Account Questions

1. What information is required to create an account on Xtorium?

You need to provide an email address and password to create an account. The organization will be identified automatically based on the email domain name.





2. Can I create an account without providing payment details?

Yes, you can create an account using the free tier. If your organization has a paid plan with limited seats, your account will deduct from the remaining available seats.





3. Are there different account types?

Yes. If you register with a personal email, you will have a personal workspace. If you register with a work email, you will automatically join your organization’s workspace.





4. How can I update my account details?

The email address used for registration is the account ID and cannot be changed.





5. What should I do if I forget my password?

Use the “Reset Password” feature on the login page to set a new password.





6. Can I deactivate or temporarily suspend my account?

This feature is not currently available.





7. How do I permanently delete my account?

To delete your account, please email support, and we will process your request. Refer to the Privacy Policy for details on data retention.






Organization Administration

8. How do I set up an organization in Xtorium?

Organizations are automatically created based on the email domain name of the user.





9. Are there limits on the number of members or teams in an organization?

The number of members is determined by your subscription tier.





10. What roles and permissions are available for organization members?

Currently, Xtorium has a flat organizational structure. Roles and permissions will be introduced in the future.





11. Can roles and permissions be customized?

This feature is not available yet but will be introduced soon.





12. How can I add members to my organization?

Any users registering with the same email domain as the organization will automatically join the same organization.





13. What happens if a member is removed from the organization?

The organization remains active as long as there is at least one member in it.





14. How does billing work for organizations?

Billing is based on the number of team members and usage of specific features.





15. Can an organization have multiple subscriptions or plans?

No, an organization can only have one active subscription plan.





16. What happens if an organization’s subscription lapses?

17. Can admins enforce security policies for the organization?

18. How can admins monitor or audit member activity within the organization?

19. Can ownership of an organization be transferred?

This feature is not currently available but will be introduced soon.





20. What happens when an organization is deleted?

When all users’ accounts associated with the organization are deleted, all data will be permanently deleted after one month.





21. Can an organization be restored after deletion?

Organizations can be restored within one month of deletion.
